Aussie Crates – Boxes Built To Order
Aussie Crates WA’s wooden crates and boxes are constructed of kiln dried pine, with timber supplied from certified West Australian plantations.
Packing crates available include:
- Timber Cases - Ply and MDF
- Steel Framed Options
- Flat Packs
Timber cases: These are fully-enclosed wooden boxes. They are assembled in such a way that the individual panels butt against each other, leaving no gaps and providing maximum protection.
Wooden boxes offer increased protection from damage with an added level of security. Wooden boxes or timber cases can also be lined for waterproof protection and offer a stronger alternative if stacking.
Our packing products are engineered to Australian standards and are suitable for all modes of transport, whether interstate or overseas. All of our products are ISPM-15 certified and are custom-designed and built to suit your requirements.
Timber crates: These are wooden boxes with slatted sides, top and floor. They are ideal to reduce overall package weight and for internal visibility. They also provide good protection and excellent air circulation.
Ply and MDF: These cases are fully enclosed and are lighter than all structural pine cases. Our plywood is manufactured by gluing together layers of wooden sheets. The resistance to cracking, shrinkage, twisting/warping, and improved strength makes it perfect for all conditions.
We also offer steel framing on our plywood cases giving extra-durability. All ply cases provide solid, weather-proof protection, which makes them perfect for sea or air freight.
Flat packs: These ready-to-assemble packing crates, with customised dimensions, are an ideal option if they need to be assembled on, or around an odd shaped product. Our packing team can assemble timber packing crates in the most suitable way for your freight.
Our products can be constructed using hinges, metal framing or any other accessories or hardware attachments. The cost of hinges, handles or any extras will be listed separately in your quote.
We also supply fire briquettes, timber pallets, animal caskets and coffins, export crates, heat shrink and plastic wrapping.
